Join us for the daily Bikes and Blues Jam at the official Myrtle Beach Bike Rally Welcome Center and Headquarters! 

You have the opportunity to collaborate and jam with fellow musicians, allowing for a spontaneous and creative exchange of ideas, or you can perform on your own to showcase your original songs or covers done “your way” to share your unique musical style with an audience. Feel free to do either or even combine both experiences for a dynamic performance!

Located in the heart of the action in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, our jam sessions kick off at 1:00 p.m. each afternoon and continue into the evening, featuring regular performances by the renowned Mista Blues himself, Michael Stallings. 

It's a fantastic opportunity for musicians and music lovers alike to gather and enjoy some authentic blues.

Guidelines for Performers:

To ensure a smooth and professional experience for everyone, we have a few requirements for musicians joining us on stage:

  • Backline: The provided backline consists of a rolling electronic piano, an electronic drum set, a small Fender guitar amp, and a small Fender bass amp.

  • A full PA system (including side monitors and column speakers with an off-stage rack box mixer),

  • Microphones: Microphones and mic stands will be provided. While you are welcome to use our equipment, we encourage performers to bring their own microphones for personal preference and hygiene.

  • Guitarists: Guitarists must bring their own guitars. If you require using your own guitar amp, please bring a small amp or you are welcome to use our guitar amp when availble. 

  • Bassists Bassists must bring their own bass guitars. If you require using your own bass amp, please bring a small bass amp or you are welcome to use our bass guitar amp when availble.   

  • Levels matter: We ask that you keep amp volume levels appropriate for the venue; this is intended to be a relaxed, cool blues atmosphere, not a high-volume concert.

  • Performance Style: Our goal is to create a cool and relaxed blues vibe. Please adjust your performance to suit this atmosphere.

Important Disclaimer Regarding Performance Aids:

We are seeking musicians who can perform with confidence and professionalism. Therefore:

  • If you rely on an iPad, tablet, or lyrics book to perform, this may not be the ideal show for you. 

  • We are prioritizing musicians who have learned their repertoire and can perform without electronic or written prompts. 

  • This is not meant to be offensive, but rather a reflection of our desired performance style.

  • We expect professional conduct from all performers. While you'll have a chance to shine, remember that these shows are about entertaining our biker visitors and creating a collective experience. 

  • Please leave egos at the door and embrace the spirit of collaboration.

Musical Diversity:

As we say, "It all started with the blues, it all came from the blues, and it all is the blues." 

We celebrate the rich heritage of the blues in South Carolina and welcome performers who showcase its influence across various genres. 

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Rock and Roll

  • Southern Rock

  • Country Blues

  • Soul

  • Americana

  • Jazz-infused Blues

 

We encourage singer songwriters to come and perform. Or….Feel free to put your own spin on cover songs and make them your own, as many great blues artists do. Creativity and a relaxed approach are encouraged.

Myrtle Beach Blues Legend Michael Stallings will be headlining several days, performing matinees and evening shows during the 2025 Spring Myrtle Beach Bike Rally.

The soulful strains of blues guitar, long a fixture along the South and North Carolina coasts thanks to the legendary Michael Stallings, will take center stage at the 2025 Spring Myrtle Beach Bike Rally.

Despite facing a recent and challenging return of his cancer, the resilient musician is slated as the featured performer, bringing his electrifying blues to the Myrtle Beach Bike Rally Welcome Center in Murrells Inlet.

Michael Stallings will treat rally attendees to afternoon matinee shows at 1 p.m., followed by evening performances kicking off at 7 p.m.

His performances promise a blend of brand-new original tracks from his highly anticipated upcoming album and signature renditions of beloved blues classics, all delivered with his unmistakable passion and flair.

The Myrtle Beach Bike Rally Welcome Center in Murrells Inlet will be the epicenter of Blues and Bikes this spring, offering a chance to witness Michael Stallings' enduring artistry and for everyone to be able to contribute to a crucial cause.

As the community rallies around him, these performances promise to be more than just concerts; they will be a testament to the power of music, resilience, and the unwavering support for a local legend in his time of need.

He has since become a cornerstone of the greater Myrtle Beach music scene, his powerful vocals and searing guitar solos echoing in venues up and down the coast.

However, the recent resurgence of his cancer has brought significant medical expenses, prompting the "Blues 4 Michael" campaign to help alleviate the financial strain.

The "Blues 4 Michael Bikes and Blues Jam" at the Spring Bike Rally offers an opportunity for fans, fellow musicians, and the Biker and Blues communities to support this beloved artist while experiencing his exceptional talent firsthand.
